Calleigh girl, oh how you keep me on my toes! You don't sit still for longer than a minute! You have to be moving at all times... a busy busy girl :) You are learning so much, so fast... and have started asking me, "Mommy, what's that?" quite often. You have also continued to let me know when you go potty... which I am amazed at. You are one sharp cookie for your age! You are also very goofy... you like to be silly and make people laugh. You spin in circles until you get dizzy and fall down and then just giggle :) You have such a sweet sweet spirit. At random moments throughout the day you will run up and and give me a big kiss... completely melts my heart. We are so thankful for you and all the joy you bring to our lives. We don't know what we'd do without you! Love you baby girl! Happy 16 Months!
This month Travis and I began our second IVF cycle (we didn't have any embryos to freeze from the first cycle). We have prayed and prayed for a sibling for Calleigh, and are hoping that God will perform another miracle and grant us our desire for another baby! Please join us in praying for another successful IVF cycle and for another bundle of joy to bless our little family!
Calleigh's 16 Month Milestones:
- sleeping 10-11 hours straight at night
- 12 months clothes
- size 3 shoes
- size 3 diapers
- 5 teeth (2 bottom, 3 top)
- says "mommy, what's that?", "good girl", "look!", "potty", "tee-tee", "nite-nite", "glasses", "cup", "bubble"
- names animals and makes their sounds
- says and can point to eyes, nose, and ears
- likes to spin around in circles
- introduced the potty
- loves her iPad... favorite app this month is: Tiny Hands Building
- loves to pretend to hand you something and then turn and RUN away :)
- climbs on EVERYTHING... baby gates, chairs, toy bins
- first time to the splash park
