My dearest Calleigh, you are definitely one "happy happy happy" baby! You are learning and talking so much now... you are our little parrot :) You try to mimic everything we do; actions and words. You love to be chased and caught. You also love it when Daddy throws you in the air and catches you... you squeal with pure joy! Daddy and I pray for you every day for the child that you are and the lady you will become. You are our greatest blessing. We love you munchkin! Happy 14 months!

13 Months

My sweet munchkin, what a personality you have!... you are full of life and this picture captures just a tiny bit of it :) Your smile and giggle are contagious! Daddy and I are amazed at you daily. You are without a doubt more than we could have ever asked for. God definitely broke the mold with you :) Love you baby girl! Happy 13 months!

This month Calleigh went back for what I thought was to recheck her iron... and it was a rough appointment :( Instead of just checking her iron, they wanted to do a full blood panel to see if her body was producing enough red blood cells on its own. Apparently back in February when she was real sick and had RSV her red blood cell count was super low. A low count could indicate a bad virus or lack of production. Since she was finally illness free for a month (yippee!) they wanted to test and see if her counts were any better. After attempting a blood draw in BOTH arms and getting nothing, they resorted to just a finger prick to check her iron and decided to try the panel again at 15 months. My poor baby had bruises on both arms from the blood draw attempts... I sure hope it goes smoother next time! Her iron level was still low, so they switched us to another oral iron supplement that she now has to take twice a day. We are praying that this supplement will do the trick and that when they test in July we will see positive results!
